Sunday, June 6, 2004 - The Holy Trinity - Gospel: John 16:12-15Video: an introduction to the Judeo-Christian moral tradition An introduction to the basis "issues" of morality traced through the scriptures of both testaments. The "roots" of our (Judeo-Christian) moral code are described from both ethical and religious points of view.
Sunday, June 13, 2004 - Gospel: Luke 7:36--8:3
A history of Christian sacramental forgiveness. This session highlights the evolution of our Christian community's sense of sin, reconciliation, and sacrament. Presentations lead participants to consider their own relationship to the sacraments.

Sunday, June 27, 2004 - Gospel: Luke 9:51-62Forming a healthy Christian conscience. An introduction to traditional and contemporary notions relating to conscience development and Catholic morality. This session provides the principles upon which the rest of the series is based.
JULY 4 NO CLASS
Sunday, July 11, 2004 - Gospel: Luke 10:25-37The Divine-self: a foundation for moral relationships. This "practical application" session centers on the morality of our relationship to God and ourselves. The first three of the Ten Commandments provide the basis for the presentations.
Sunday, July 18, 2004 - Gospel: Luke 10:38-42
Loving your neighbor as yourself. Presents the moral dimension of community. The first part of this session returns to the general principles of morality and applies them creatively to our closest "neighbors" (spouse, children, family and friends). Part Two considers relationships that are easier to ignore (the elderly, handicapped and the alienated in our midst).
Sunday, July 25, 2004 - Gospel: Luke 11:1-13
Human sexual love: the power of life. This session is designed to frankly and sensitively present today's most relevant sexual-moral questions. Although biological, medical and moral issues are presented, the more personal dimensions and spirituality of sex are the primary focus.
Sunday, August 1, 2004 - Gospel: Luke 12:13-21
The joyful struggle to build a more Christian society. An important session for opening minds and consciences to some of the more important global social issues of our day. This presentation opens up discussion of many specific teachings of the Church (particularly the American Bishops) regarding the economy, war and peace and society at large.
Sunday, August 8, 2004 - Gospel: Luke 12:32-48
Touching God: a celebration of sacramental forgiveness. This concluding session returns to a more direct focus on the Church's contemporary role in healing and forgiving. The celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Anointing are especially highlighted together with a more spiritual-psychological look at the Church's mission.

A Journey with Mary from the Annunciation to her visit with Elizabeth; from the Nativity and the Flight into Egypt; from the Presentation at the Temple to the Wedding Feast at Cana; and to the watch at Calvary.
